Warts Treatment
Warts Removal
The wart is a skin formation induced by the human papilloma virus (HPV human papilloma virus). The contagion occurs through superficial contact (the virus is therefore not present in the blood) usually in very busy places such as showers, gyms and swimming pools.
Plantar warts appear on the sole of the foot and normally interrupt the pattern of lines and reliefs present on the skin that make up the footprint and also may have dark dots inside.
In the Podiatric Studio Prati, the removal of the wart is carried out with various methods of treatment:
- Smoking Nitric Acid: application of 67% smoking nitric acid that does nothing but accelerate the wart’s maturation cycle.
- Keratolytic preparations: application of salicylic acid that accelerates the maturation cycle of the wart.
- Cryotherapy (Criopen Nitrous Oxide): freezing of the affected area by means of nitrous oxide.
- Laser therapy
